Good night
® by erli
In the beginning of all days there was winter and no light on earth
Then in spring the sun appeared and with him, light and flowers and butterflies.
And every day it got warmer and nicer
but every night life froze to death and disappeared in darkness.
By summer the sun became really sad as he realized that the harder he tries and the brighter he shines on one side,
the darker and colder it would be on the other side.
The more life he created at day, the more life had to die at night.
So he turned down in fall and gave up in winter and almost no life was left at all.

Just before the sun died in sadness, the moon appeared right next to him because she found that little light in the darkness and thought it was warm and beautiful.
But instead of taking the hope and turning away, she returned the little light to the sun.
And the sun was full of hope and light and returned it by shining brighter again.

The spring of their love was just beautiful. At day all the flowers started growing and the butterflies dancing and the sun enjoyed it a lot.
And at night the moon filled the darkness with light and all life survived sleeping, guarded by her beauty and kindness and she was full of love and joy.

Over the years there were brighter and darker times, summers and winters of life. But the sun loves the moon and the moon loves the sun and so all the flowers are growing and the butterflies are dancing and love and light will always be around.
Only once in a while both disappear for one night and if you look at the sky carefully you might see that a new star will be born.
